Meet Tim & Betty Deck

Tim & Betty Deck is the owner of Memory Lane Greenhouse & Tea Gardens Bed & Breakfast

Betty Deck comes from a family of farmers and gardeners, so her love for gardening came very naturally. Betty and her husband Tim’s five acre garden and large greenhouse is evidence of her passion for growing. The couple grows a very diverse variety of plants, flowers and vegetables and several heirloom species of vegetables that are very unique and difficult to find elsewhere. They even support an elementary school heirloom tomato-growing program.

Betty and Tim are as passionate about entertaining as they are about gardening. Their bed and breakfast attracts guests from all over the world, including overseas. They treat all of their guests like visiting family, and many of their guests end up becoming friends. Some keep in touch after they go home, and some even come for return stays.

Betty and Tim like to keep things new and fresh every day, which is why they operate several businesses from their rural property. Every day brings something new and exciting. They keep very busy. Betty, who used to own a restaurant, still loves to cook and cater. The couple volunteers in the community during their spare time. If they have any free time leftover after all the work is done, they enjoy riding their quad.
